A World Without Rules

We are pleased to invite you to A World Without Rules, a one-day symposium hosted by The Reckoning Project at Yale University on April 24th in New Haven.

Bringing together leading practitioners, academics, and policymakers, the event will examine how the erosion of international norms is reshaping today’s conflicts and weakening the systems meant to protect civilians and uphold accountability.

The program will feature opening remarks by TRP CEO, Janine di Giovanni, a keynote address by former Executive Director of Human Rights Watch, Kenneth Roth, and closing remarks by renowned historian, Timothy Snyder.

Throughout the day, expert panels will explore the collapse of global rules, the limits of international justice mechanisms, and the strategies that remain available to pursue accountability in an increasingly fragmented world.
