Accountability and the Future of Ukraine
TRP webinar examining why accountability in Ukraine remains central to any credible and lasting peace
Join us this Friday, December 19, from 10:00–11:15am EST for The Reckoning Project's webinar examining why accountability must remain central to any credible long-term peace in Ukraine.
As diplomatic talks accelerate, the discussion will assess the state of justice efforts for Russia's atrocity crimes and what is at stake as proposals granting sweeping immunity gain traction. TRP CEO Janine di Giovanni will open with brief remarks and an update on TRP's ongoing work, followed by a panel discussion on what meaningful accountability for Ukraine truly requires—and what is at risk when justice is traded for expediency.
Moderated by Maksimas Milta, TRP's Ukraine Director, the panel brings together Sevgil Musaieva, Editor-in-Chief of Ukrainska Pravda, alongside TRP experts Christopher "Kip" Hale, Roman Avramenko, and Peter Pomerantsev.
We hope to see you there.
