The Reckoning Project Welcomes Matt Duss and Suzy Hansen to Its Advisory Board
The Reckoning Project (TRP) is honored to announce the appointment of Matt Duss and Suzy Hansen to its Advisory Board, further strengthening its distinguished group of advisors from across journalism, human rights, diplomacy, and international affairs.
Matt Duss is Executive Vice President of the Center for International Policy and a leading voice on U.S. foreign policy and international security. Previously, he served as foreign policy advisor to Senator Bernie Sanders and has spent more than two decades shaping policy on conflict, diplomacy, and human rights. His writing has appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, Foreign Affairs, among other publications.
Suzy Hansen is an award-winning journalist and author whose work explores democracy, power, and global politics. She lived in Istanbul for more than a decade, writing for The New York Times Magazine and numerous international publications. Her first book, Notes on a Foreign Country, was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Nonfiction and received the Overseas Press Club's Cornelius Ryan Award. Her latest book, From Life Itself: Turkey, Istanbul and a Neighborhood in the Age of Erdoğan, was published earlier this year. She has taught writing at Princeton University, New York University, and Bard College.
